| Here are some things to be
considering before your consultation.
1. Budget, we will need to have some idea what
you want to spend, in order to give useful suggestions.

Color scheme, bring cloth swatches of
table covers, dresses, ribbons, favorite colors etc. and this will
help guide in a floral selection to create your perfect day

Style, traditional to ultra contemporary,
remember your wedding should express your personal taste.
4.
Bridal party flowers, from the bride's
bouquet to grandmother's corsage, consider who is a part of the wedding
and which guests will need flowers. Don't forget the flower girl and
ring bearer. Will you need a toss bouquet?
5.
Ceremony decorations, entryways, altar,
pews, windows, outdoor decorations, remember these will be the backdrop
for your album photos.
6.
Candles, add a soft romantic touch,
but many places have restrictions concerning open flames. Candles can
never be left burning unattended, so someone in the bridal party will
need to be responsible to watch and later put out all flames.
7. Reception
decorations, will set the mood for your reception. Again there
are many things to decide on. Entries, buffet tables, centerpieces,
stage/dance floor, tents etc. Outdoor reception require some extra
planning, the weather may not always cooperate.
8. Home, flowers around the house in a
few places will add to the excitement and enjoyment as everyone prepares
for the big day.
9.
Cake flowers, are a natural. Even if your
cake does not need fresh flowers on it, you may want to decorate the
cake table.
10.
Portrait bouquet,
Many brides choose to sit for a
formal portrait some time before the day of the wedding. If so you will
need an additional bouquet for the sitting.
Money Saving
Tip, When it comes to cutting back on the
cost of your wedding flowers, it usually saves you more money to
eliminate items rather than to try to scale back on individual designs.
The reason, is that although you may save the cost of a few stems of
flowers in your designs, there is still the same amount of planning,
labor, handling, containers, etc.
When considering where to eliminate
items think about the impact of an item and how long you and your
guests will be around to appreciate it. Since most people spend
more time at the reception than the ceremony, cutting selections at the
ceremony sight is a logical place to start. My personal thoughts
are you need something at the entrance to show the world there is
something special going on that day, and nice altar designs that will
forever be a part of your wedding photos.
Should you decide to book with us, after the
$500.00 deposit, 50% of the total is due 60 days prior to the day of the
wedding, with the balance, minus the booking fee, due 14 days before the
wedding.
